I've read the other posts, and I have formed no opinion regarding the weight issue. It has never been a factor for me. My philosophy is - play a lot of mouthpieces and find the one that makes "the sound" for you. Buy it, play it, make music with it, and don't worry about it. I've been searching 15 years for an F Tuba m.p. and still haven't found "the sound". I've tried many horns too. It's out there. I just haven't found it yet. Any new stuff I maybe haven't seen?
