As the previous posters mentioned, it is not a difficult part. The most entertaining feature of your first rehearsal will be seeing how good your trumpet players are at transposing- a different key for every movement. I'm posting mainly to recommend a recording. There is a Vaclav Tallich/Czech Philharmonic recording from the early '50's available on Supraphon. This is, in my opinion, one of the most remarkable recorded performances around. As Machito would say, "These cats play with FIRE."
