One of the bands I play with plays a church picnic (Praha, TX) every Aug.15. It is 100-105 degrees, 98% humidity, no breeze, etc. Typical cool summer day in south Texas. You have to play in the shade, or else you couldn't hold your horn, and you'd get sunburned. Sweating profusely creates seal problems. I don't know if I would trade my dilemma for yours, however. I do love cold, but what you describe is a problem. 20 minutes might be ok. We play the picnic from 11am to 6pm. OK, I changed my mind... We can trade.
