focal dystonia

Chuck,
You mentioned that you had a few TIA's also. Has anyone suggested that the focal dystonia is related, or a result? My reason for asking, is that that if TIA's (mini-strokes) are a possible factor, people might want to see what they could do to protect themselves.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. It happened to a friend of mine, and even though it occurred several years ago, she is still distressed and trying to get back where she was.
