I am wondering what books you go to when you want to play some great songs. I like the Bach Cello Suites, Pottags, back of the trumpet Arbans, and such. I am indifferent as to what instrument the books are written. What are some other books which are enjoyable to listen to, challenging musically (not necessarily techinically) to play, and have good melodies?
Perhaps there are some vocal books, or bassoon, or flute?
