Rick's description of the DEG is accurate. I have one and I like it, I also have the bag for it that allows it to be carried in the bell. (Don't try to play with it still in there, I forgot it once and had a moment of panic when I tried to blow a few warm-up scales) I also have a Meinl Weston tuba strap. I've been using it recently in a German Band that I play with, and I like it a lot also. The strap puts the weight on your shoulders, so it is a bit more tiring than the DEG, but it's alot easier to move on and off stage. It also works well for standing. Like the DEG, it cost more than it should, but what doesn't?
