The Haddad Suite would be a very good piece for a college audition. Be sure to prepare at least two, if not all three, of the movements. The Suite has nice contrasting sections, gives good exposure to range, and requires technique as well as tonality. The Bach/Bell "Air and Bouree" is also a good piece, but is almost too common in the audition process. Make sure you have your major and minor scales down, and be prepared to do some sight reading. A former student of mine used the Haddad Suite for scholarship auditions and it proved to be quite successful.
