My generalizations are:
-mouthpiece- minor pitch variables-feel and resistance
-mouthpipe- minor to major pitch variables-feel and resistance (per my mouthpipe experiments on my HB6 and on a Meinle Weston 2165)
-bore -- "feel" and resistance (I'll go with that)
- branches -- intonation and potential volume of sound (I agree 100%)
- bell -- quality of the sound ("tone") (I agree here too!) I installed a Mirafone 185 Bell on my original B&S Standard bore f with the hopes of improving the intonation but it only changed the tone.
