I guess I have had a pretty steady flow of instruments go through my hands.
I don't presently have any instruments I am not using in some way.
The Yamaha is a 623X, meaning not being produced at this minute. It was
designed at the same time as the 822F and shares many parts. I consider it
to be the finest instrument I have ever had. Yamaha is considering its fate,
trying to determine what kind of consumer interest there will be in carbon
bells, etc.
As a point of interest, I think the Yamaha 882CC is a great instrument well
worth a test on your part. It is a fine all around instrument, a bit larger
than the one I use.
