As co-owner of a newspaper in a small Midwestern town, I feel that if someone wants to state an opinion they need to find the courage to sign their name. We will not print an unsigned letter to the editor in our paper. We have written a few controversial editorials and have received our share of hate mail, all of it unsigned. Hard to believe what someone will say to/about you when they give you no opportunity to respond.
