Hello all,

I know I posted this a couple of weeks ago but I gotta try again. We are having our annual Oktubafest at Duquesne U., which is located in Pittsburgh. The formal announcement is below. Everything is free. If anyone is interested please email me or call Duquesne for directions, the number is below.

The Duquesne University Euphonium/Tuba Society (DUETS) is pleased to announce its fifth annual Duquesne University Oktubafest, featuring euphonium virtuoso Steven Mead and sponsored by Boosey and Hawkes, Volkwein's Music, the Duquesne Program Council, and the Mary Pappert School of Music. The event is free and open to the public, and will take place on the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, October 11th, 12th, 13th, and all day Saturday, October 14th, 2000, at Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music.

DUETS believes that this event, with performances and sessions given by both Steven Mead and Duquesne faculty, will provide wonderful listening and learning opportunities for low brass musicians of all ages and abilities. All are invited free of charge
to the the events listed below.

Special thanks to Boosey & Hawkes and Volkwein's Music for their financial support. Steven Mead plays Besson euphoniums exclusively.

For information about this year's Oktubafest, including directions, please contact the Duquesne University School of Music at (412)-396-6080 or email me.

Thank you for your consideration.
