In lieu of my pro-corps posts of the past, I'm gonna have to agree with what Vinnie stated. If that's your only horn, please don't sell it just to march in a drum and bugle corps. With a little effort, you shouldn't have too much trouble raising $3,500 between now and January/May/Whenever your move in date is. Corps are forgiving too, you'll have plenty of time to raise the money even between January and June. Drum Corps is a great hobby, and very productive, as long as it doesn't interfere with your *legit* music life. Making you have to sell your horn is what I would consider interfering with your real music life. Anyways, best of luck to you, I hope it all works out, and that you have a great summer with BD, without having to sell you horn.
