I like the 191, although I'm not a Mirafone player. :) I am glad to see that Brasswind put pictures of it in their latest catalog -- now I don't have to try to describe it again!
Personally, I don't care for most CC's sounds, at least not in the groups I play with. Play the 191 alongside a PT-4 rotary (which I also like, actually) and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about -- or better yet, compare a PT-4P to a VMI 3301/3302 for a more direct comparison. Or two Hirsbrunners, one in CC and one in BBb. Or, of course, the 191 against a similarly-wrapped and -sized CC Mirafone.
As usual, get whatever you want, and not what someone else dictates to you. If YOU like it, YOU will have fun playing, and whoever's listening will hear YOU having fun. That's the point of music, anyway.
