I play a Meinl-Weston F. It has some good points and some bad one:
Good Points:
1. It is very open and can really pump out the sound in the mid and high range.
2. It blends really well in quintet and orchestra settings.
3. It plays well in tune.
Bad Points:
1. The low register lacks power.
2. The valves are noisy.
3. It will does not project well in a large wind ensemble.
Just some observations.
