Dear Gary,
The problem of my rotary valves is that:
1) the sides of the cilinders are
not perfectly circular but a little elliptical;
2) the cilinders are too small.
The best repair man that I
found in Itlay said that he could act only on the cilinder (with nickel plating)
but not on the sides. After nickel plating of the cilinder the horn works better
but in any case there is too much noise, the valves are not enough fast and the
instrument looses to much air form the valves.
I do not have any hope to solve the problem.
Ugo
