Funny, when my choices are between Dillon and Rudolf Meinl, quality of workmanship just isn't a big factor! Whatever I get done, it will get done well.
I wasn't planning on any really major changes; this particular horn is already the best 3/4 Rudy I've played. I'm just out to get it in better shape and see if there isn't
something I can do about the dang sixth partial. But since you bring up suggestions about modifications, I ought to ask the other Rudy players out there: what would you change if you could, and how might you do it? Other than lowering the leadpipe; that's already been taken care of (and a cold wet nose is a sign of a healthy dog!)
