Here are a few contemporary tubists who are outstanding:
Phil Sinder - Tuba Prof. at Michigan State U. and plays in the Brass Band of Battle Creek.
Mark Cox - Tuba Prof. at Central Michigan University
Monty Burch - Tubist in the Grand Rapids (MI) Symphony
Phil, Mark and Monty are all exceptional tubists and great people. Studying with any one of them would be a great educational experience for anyone.
