It's not hard, really. It might not be a bad idea to tackle the job of (a) learning the fingerings of all 4 common tuba keys (BBb,CC,Eb and F) or (b) learning how to transpose on the fly.

But short of stumbling across one of the very rare CC sousies, you'll probably have to get a hacksaw-and-torch artist to build you one.
