I bought the book recently. It has a lot of Civil War to early 20th century era photographs. Not all of the horns pictured are terribly interesting-lots of "over the shoulder" models, Conn Ebs, etc. There is a short section with Helicons and Sousaphones-nothing terribly out of the ordinary though.
