At some point, the 4th valve piston has been replaced, but they used a piston from a different model tuba. This piston is a bit smaller and the ports don't quite line up. Would it be possible to modify the existing valve to get the proper alignment? On some notes the horn sounds great, but on others it's very stuffy and out of tune. I think this could be the culprit.
