It's 6 years old, lacquered, and in great shape. There are a couple very minor dings in the large vertical tube where your left hand might go. (Actually, I sometimes keep my left hand there to adjust the 3rd valve slide). There are some black acid marks where the acid flux in the joints has bled through. Other than that, the lacquer is 99% good.

The horn plays great! I bought a Willson 3400s and can, understandably, use the cash. I like the Willson better, but only marginally. I'd love to keep them both, but my wife has other ideas. Women!?!

If the horn were perfect, $4000 would seem like a fair price. $3800 as is. I live in Charlotte, NC and you're welcome to stop by to play it (and the Willson too, if you want).
