We can't do it next year because we'll have even less people in the band as 1/3 of this year's 60 piece band is seniors, leaving only 30 total people next year, of which 20 or so will march.
The Band Boosters are currently running low on money too. They are currently paying for the remainder of this' year's band expenses as the band budget is gone.
If the Band Boosters lose their budget, which may happen, the band will be bankrupt for the remainder of the year, and next year's $5,000 budget will not be enough for everything, thus leaving the Trinity High School band bankrupt and have to shut down within the next few years.
Sure the $2500 could be used other ways, but instrument wise, if it wasn't for the tubas breaking monthly, $200 thrown away each time they need repairs, we'd still have a budget.
