I bought a Blue Note strap for my Besson BBb tuba (top action), but when I attach it to the tuba's two rings and put the strap over my shoulder, the mouthpiece is jammed into my face. It takes considerable effort to hold the mouthpiece in a playable position. Any suggestions from other Besson (or anyone) players would be appreciated.
