I would like to get my hands on some outside slide tubing (two 6 or 7 inch chunks would do) to fit the 5th valve from a "real" B&S (pre-Meinl owned and not PT) F tuba.
nickel-silver preferred...brass would be fine if the right size...Beggars cannot be choosers. ' goes without saying (but I'm saying it): I expect to pay.
I'll measure and post the I.D. of this tubing tomorrow, unless you-who-have-this-tubing already know exactly what I need.
