I would also choose the King's over the Conn. I have had the benefit of playing in an all King section with a mix of horns from fifteen to fgive years old then playing in an all CONN section where they are about ten years old and then going back to all KING line with the horns being about twenty five years old. And, no matter the age the King rocks out, they project better, resonate better and if you get a good quality relaquer or even just a plate job they still look good no matter the age. I would seriously Go with the KING.
