Paraphrasing Roger Bobo from years back on the old TubaEuph list when I asked the question: "What ONE tuba would you own if you could only own one?"
His reply was: "A large Eb tuba." Then he quickly hastened to add that although he owned two Eb tubas at that time, he scarcely used either, as he typically chose his F (or his custom G or custom D or . . . .).
The Willson Eb comes close to my ideal "one tuba fits all" because it sounds similar to a 4/4 CC but has an easier upper register. That's how I'd spend my $6500 (plus a bit)*.
* [I believe there is at least one source for the Willson Eb tuba here in the US that can provide a more favorable price that what you'll see normally advertised. Do some shopping and see what price you can find if you ask the right person nicely . . . .]
