I don't think anyone can or should even attempt to answer this question. It's like, "What car should I buy?" There are far too many personal factors to consider. It is my advise to take a trip to a large music store that will allow you to play the various instruments that are available. Spend a few hundred dollars to stay several days so you can make the decision after some thought and retesting. Certainly if you were buying a trumpet you'd try several before you bought. The difference is tubas are not found in every music store in every mall in the country. We have to travel to where they are. That said, I also believe there are many tubas on the market that are quite good and will work well for most of us. Good luck, new buying a tuba is an exciting thing to do, and most of us only do it 2 or 3 times in our lives.
