I was curious about the orchestra's overall budget and pay scale. I have a couple of trumpet player friends and a trombone player friend who were involved with that orchestra in the past, and some string player friends and horn player friends who might be looking for a "first" gig.
I found advertised on the website an opening for Principal horn and openings in all string sections.
I think it's great that Aubrey is playing on this concert and the program for this concert is great, but obviously he isn't playing the 75 or so services this year, since he's not the Principal Tuba.
