Am I right in saying that your average Piston valve gives less resistance than a Rotary valve? If not please explain why that is?
That being the case, and all else being equal, could a 5 Piston valve (4+1) horn have less resistance than a 4 Rotary valve equivalent?
Imagine this for the same instrument body, just with different valves.
I guess manufacturers may have research on this or figures about it?
