No photos, my apologies, but lots of experience with lacquer removal on large musical instruments. Your local hardware emporium will be loaded with various products which will delaquer flawlessly and with minimal physical intervention. You will, however, wind up with a considerable residue of REALLY noxious glop- not on the horn which will hose off just fine- but on the lawn, in the tub, or at whatever venue you choose. This is truly nasty slop and hosing it off in the front yard is but a slim step away from changing your car's oil over the storm sewer.....
Assuming you either figure out a disposal system or have no environmental conscience the only thing to watch out for is anything on the horn not made of metal. Presumably you'll have taken the valves out (buttons, guides, any linkages if rotary...) but anything even remotely resembling plastic is going to dissolve..... Good luck.
