The Holton is somewhat smaller than the King. I like the body and bell of both of these instruments, but feel that they each went with a smallish leadpipe and valveset bore. The King is a large-enough instrument that it doesn't make as much difference, although I think they suffer a little in the low reister. I would have liked to have seen the King 2341/Conn52J have the .730 bore size, not the old .685 King bore size.
The Holtons, both BBb and CC, play well-enough, but feel a bit small to me (but then, a 2XJ Conn feels normal to me ;^)
