What about the Mirafone 186 he was trying out? (I was the guy in the vest that came in about a half hour before closing time and played a couple of them.) My personal choice would be the Getzen, it's a fun little CC with a great sound. I would have bought over the summer if I didn't already have an Eb that's clse in size and sound to it. Don't throw out the idea of an Eb tuba either. he's has a horn to play at school, why not have one for at home?
