Another unique approach is the 6V Amati (Cerveny) F I purchased from (and later sold back to) Lee Stofer, which had a 5 step 4th valve (typical) and a 7-step ("quint") 5th valve. The 6th valve was a long 1/2 step, I believe. So, CC was fingered "4", and BBb was fingered "5". You had to figure out what worked well for the rest . . . .
