Unfortunatly I don't really have much advise for you except this... don't polish the horn every time. Don't polish any horn all the time. The silver or laquer is only "so" thick, so it stands to reason that if you give it a rub down every time you use it that your finish will not last nearly as long as it would if you only periodically polished it up.

Now, if the horn sounds good, then I'd be happy that something I got from a company that doesn't speak English that actually sounds good. Consider yourself lucky. Be happy that it has a good sound, and make sure that you don't eat anything or drink anything (especially soda!) before playing this horn... you never know what metals they used. Also, drain the horn completely after each use.
