Make sure it's a small-shank DW 3 that you're after and not the large shank DW 3L (which fits most recent tubas; the small shank fits older Bessons and many pre-WW II American horns as well as some older French and Belgian instruments).
I like the DW 3 a lot for an Eb mouthpiece--my little 1895 Henry Distin really sings with one.
But I'd move to a DW 1 or 2 if I were playing a BBb or CC.
Denis Wick mouthpieces are a good deal for the money--just don't buy the gold-plated version--it seems to wear off very quickly. If you want gold, buy a silver one and have it overplated with gold.
