Contact Lee Stofer at tubameister1(AT)juno.com. Lee has Rudy Meinl bags that have much thicker padding than Alteri and are really nice. However, they are top loading.
You might also contact Tony Clements at ttuba(AT)earthlink.net. He deals with Glen Cronkite who used to make bags for Reunion Blues.
I don't recommend the new Reunion Blues bags. They are poor quality and are cheaply made overseas.
