I was able to get my Yorkbrunner thanks to my Musician Union's credit union. They had a program where they would supply loans for up to 80% of the cost (including sales tax) toward the purchase of an instrument worth $10,000 or more. I paid about $3,000 out of pocket and the rest was covered by the loan, which was at 11% simple interest over 5 years. My monthly payment was $259.00 and the horn earned way more than that each month and basically paid for itself. If you are paid to play then it is also a tax deduction and can be depreciated as a business expense, plus the interest is tax deductible as well. I was (and still am) a member of the Houston Musician's Credit Union, which is where I got this great loan.

Just my experience.
Roger
