Hey man, I have the Yammie 822 and my bro has that Eb you are talking about. I think they are very similar and I like them both however, after playing in a tuba 4-tet (and duets) together on these instruments for several years we agree that the Yammie has a slightly better presence and projection on the bottom than the Besson. We have tried a few different mthpcs and the yammie still had a slightly easier bottom as far as projection goes. My bro said that if Yamaha made an Eb the same way they have made the F 822 he would buy it instead. That is our oipinion for what it's worth.
