I don't have a new or nearly new one, but I do have a Russian Eb tuba with a great sound, neither dings nor dells, coming with mp for sale. However, it is a 3 valver, but the price is just $ 350.-- ex Germany. The sound is so excellent, and the price so low, that it might be an alternative to take this horn to an expert to add on a 4th valve, if wanted.
This horn is not as thin walled and vulnerable as sometimes discussed in regard to the newer St.Petersburg tubas, but the valves are a bit obsolete (drum springs) but work easily. A switch to unibal joints and a 4th valve would raise this horn to the 1st line of Eb tubas.
I also have a Böhm & Meinl (Nirschl) Eb sousa 4 years old in excellent condition for sale,
Great player!
