The 20K bell fit fine and cleared the body just fine.
I played it with a tuner and it was pretty good.
BUT the horn was significantly overbalanced to the front and I found it hard to hang on to.
The "real" recording bell is much better from the point of view of balance - the horn is still a tad front-heavy (it will slowly creep if I put the horn in a K&M stand) but not hard to hold.
Also the real recording bell sits higher and there is less vision blockage, although that wasn't a really BIG issue with the sousie bell - more of an annoyance that a real problem.
Anyhow, ny feeling is that balance is the main reason to prefer the recording bell over the sousie bell.
