The only true way to answer that question is to try them out for yourself. I don't have any experience with Hirshbrunner tubas, but I can tell you that (to me) the Willson tubas (in the same price range as the Hirsbrunners) are a bargain- worth every penny, if not more.
On the other hand, there are those that will be perfectly content playing a Conn 5j or a Cerveny. There are dozens of variables that affect the (100% subjective) value of a tuba, what it all comes down to is how the horn reacts to you.
