Being that I am completely deaf, I truly hope that you find some measure of relief in your situation, whether it is a different horn or ear protection. Please, please see a otologist as soon as you possibly can! Make certain that you take care of what you have left.
I still play, even with my deafness. But, I remember that the Mirafone 186 I played in college left a bit of a ring in my ears (I'd give my left arm for that horn now).
