Before the beginning of rehearsal last night, I hear that awful, characteristic sound of a large piece of brass tubing crashing to the floor. I look over at the tuba player who had just walked in the door, and I see his tuba lying there on the floor.
Well, most of it, anyway... he still had the bottom bow in his hands.

This just flabbergasted me. Has anyone ever seen joints let go to that extreme???
