Blistex is very good. Also, don't forget to take a standard 400 Units (usually one gel cap)of Vitamin E daily (more is NOT necessary unless you are trying to heal cracked lips). A little liquid Vitamin E (available in small bottles) smeared on the lips when the weather is really bad helps as well - the stuff works for all sorts of dry skin conditions. And a bit of Vitamin C will not hurt things either.
My surgeon even advised Vit E after surgery to promote healing.
