yeah, though it's often hard to define a 5/4 or 6/4 tuba. You really hae to play it to see whether, the sound output, and air flow resistance really suite you. I've played load 5/4 tubas that have alot of resistence, and don't do so well on lower registers, and I've played 5/4's that suck the air out of you pretty much like a 6/4(american style). Every tuba is different, and if you really want to know how it performs, play it. Though one thing I'm confused about is the difference between a Nirschle and a York-Brunner, or a good Hirsbrunner 6/4.
