One should not be too smart about, what other players should do with their instruments, but since you bring up the topic, I would say this:

Your instrument appears to be basically sound, so I would limit the repairs to its two weakest points.

The knuckles of the valve tubing should have taken out their dents. They sit on a vulnerable point of the accoustical pathway. A good repairman can easily unsolder the knuckles and get them back to the original shape.

Anything related to the structural securing of the bell to body connection should be fixed.

Whatever remains of minor body denting and shortcomings in visual appearance can wait.

I guess it is no accidence, that two of the more interested posters on this thread are the two board contributors, that have York Masters out of the same factory. My one looks less than pretty, but it plays very well. (JS also has one, but it is a project-box-phase according to the latest bulletins).
