A 25J has 4 short stroke, top action valves, with a bore of 0.773". The 25J has an upright bell while the same horn with a recording bell is a 24J. The bell diameter is 24" and total height is about 4 ft. These are 6/4 sized tubas by anyone's definition. I have a Conn catalog from the 50s that has a nice photo of one, but it will take me some time to scan it and put it somewhere where it can be posted. Maybe someone else has one handy or knows where one is already posted.

What do you mean when you say you've come across one?
