The Babahatchie Community Band will be sponsoring TubaChristmas on Saturday, Dec. 8 in the James M. Williamson Auditorium at the Harriman, TN High School. Harriman is located approximately 30 miles west of Knoxville on U.S. Hwy. 27, and the school is on the east side of the highway about 5 miles north of I-40.

The conductor will be Sande MacMorran, Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at The University of Tennessee - Knoxville and Associate Conductor and Tubist of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. ($5 per participant), and rehearsal begins at 10:00. The concert will be at 11:45, and is free to all. The book is Carols For A Merry TubaChristmas, Vol. 2 by Alec Wilder and Norlan Bewley, and copies will be available for purchase if you don't already have one.

For more info, e-mail privately. Hope some of you in the neighborhood can make it!
