sorry for takin' so long ta respond. I started noticing the SHARP phenomena about a month and a half after I bought the horn. I figured that it was just me until I went through an embechure chance and it remained . So, I decided to retune my ear about three months ago. I must be over-compensating in the upper register cause it's going flat now. The Trombones in the symphony from Claremont just don't play all that well, but the Bone players in the LaMirada Symphony are pretty solid. They hear just fine.
And my Horn is a CC. Not a BBb. If you saw the main slide on my horn, you'd know why it's sharp.
