I agree. I have a music ed degree. I am not a music teacher, I am a standard 8-5 business person. A four year degree and the rigors involved do put me a notch above those without a four year degree. I am better trained in many environments to deal with people and situations, but I still wish I had more business type courses. I almost wish that music schools would graduate more students with a liberal arts degree with specialization in music. This degree would make more sense for real world applications.
